Dream big. Dream tech. That was the message behind the recent 2018 MIT Global Startup Workshop which brought together hundreds of global tech experts and business leaders who are driving the future of entrepreneurship in the Asia-Pacific region.
Held for the first time in Bangkok, Thailand at the Centara Grand Convention Centre and the Sasin School of Management, the event offered participants an opportunity to learn about new tools for innovation-driven entrepreneurship.
Over the course of three days in March, students, faculty, entrepreneurs, investors, and government officials got to experience a host of keynotes, panels and hands-on workshops designed to think boldly about the role technology is playing in driving entrepreneurship.
Fling was invited to take part in the Startup Showcase, where CEO Michael Currie and colleagues Nat Suenghataiporn and Dan Goncalves, spoke to the drone solutions and technology the company is working on for clients across Southeast Asia.
Michael Currie also took to the stage for the Global Startup investor pitch competition, making his case for how drones will transform business over the coming decade and why Fling is well positioned to lead the way in this emerging market.
